Estée Lauder Companies
Estée Lauder Companies has been generously supporting Breast Cancer Foundation NZ since established, in a range of ways:
- providing pink ribbons annually throughout New Zealand for fundraising purposes (particularly for the Pink Ribbon Street Appeal),
- contributing donations from Pink Ribbon products sold during the month of October,
- donating beauty products in-kind for BCFNZ fundraising events to raise funds for research.
In 1992 Evelyn Lauder of Estée Lauder Companies made a commitment to the fight against breast cancer and launched the first Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at Estée Lauder counters across the United States.
Subsequently Estée Lauder Companies throughout the world were encouraged to join this movement. ELC New Zealand partnered with the BCFNZ from its inception, the Foundation having been founded by a group of NZ doctors in 1994.
The Hits is proud to support BCFNZ and in particular The Pink Star Walk 2019. We’re extremely passionate about the cause and are excited to do all we can to help raise money, increase awareness and bring the star out in everyone at the event.

All around the world, Trafalgar looks to positively impact the communities we engage with. Close to our heart in New Zealand is the Pink Star Walk, and so we enable our network of staff and agents to join us in fundraising, walking and supporting the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2018, 129 people joined Team Trafalgar and collectively raised over $5300. A highlight for us every year is to donate a life changing travel experience for one lucky fundraiser to take a loved one on the holiday of a lifetime together.
